"Beggars Banquet is a revel soaked in soot and sedition—a procession of ragged hymns for a world teetering between revelry and ruin. In these songs, the Stones conjure a kind of beautiful depravity, where devils dance in waltz time and the civilized mask of man slips, ever so slightly, to reveal something ancient, wicked, and strangely divine." - Mary Shelly English novelist and vegetarian

The House of Flying Daggers

2004

This is the story of three men - one with a cigar, one with a mustache, and one with a poncho. The “Good”, Blondie (Clint Eastwood ), had the looks of a hero but the moral flexibility of a used car salesman. The “Bad”, Angel Eyes (Lee Van Cleef), made dishonesty an art form. And the “Ugly”, Tuco (Eli Wallach) - well, let’s just say he had more lives than a cat and worse hygiene than a municipal zoo on chili dog night. All three embark on a treasure hunt during the Civil War chasing after $200,000 in Confederate gold like it was half-off meatloaf night at the Cracker Barrel, but instead of using a map, they prefer dramatic standoffs, unnecessary close-ups, and an absolute refusal to speak above a whisper. Along the way, they shoot things, glare dramatically with enough squinting to make someone invent contact lenses, and forget to share directions… and somehow, no one ever runs out of bullets or ponchos. In the end, there’s a Mexican standoff, a missing grave, ans bullets exchanged with none of them intending to pay taxes on the gold.

Cut-Rite Chain Saws’ Green Chicken Chili

No one can beat Dallas’ favorite caterer’s Drayton Sawyer chili, but if you’re looking for something other than red meat for your next chili cook-off, look no further. This chili doesn’t skimp on the meat either and doesn’t rely on hard shelled peppercorns. No need to go out on the highway to find your meat, for those who need to feed a hungry family using store bought ingredients like rotisserie chicken, left over rice and caned beans - you can cut your cook time down without loosing that fresh flavor.

"SUPERMAN: SOVIET SON?"
Global Icon Revealed to Be Champion of the U.S.S.R.

By Lois Lane, Senior Correspondent

Metropolis - The world was stunned today by the revelation that Superman, long thought to be a neutral force for good and protector of Earth, was revealed to be in fact a citizen of the Soviet Union and loyal defender of its regime.

The Man of Steel -previously a symbol of hope for all nations - first appeared publicly under the Soviet banner in Moscow, rescuing civilians from a nuclear mishap and receiving commendations from Premier Joseph Stalin himself. Dressed in a red-and-black iconic uniform, adorned with the hammer and sickle…
