Elliot the Dragon

Ain’t your average sailor’s swill—this here’s the stuff of legends. Dragons have been known to hover just for the aroma.

Ingredients

  • Muddle: Lime Peel, Peychaud bitters, 10 basil leaves, and Demerara sugar

  • .5 Chartreuse

  • 1.5 oz scotch

  • 1.5 oz Cognac

Garnish

  • 1/4 Smoked Dried Basil Leaves

Hardware

  • Chilled rocks Glass

  • Ice

  • Drink smoker

How to make

  • To chilled rocks glass, add Lime Peel, Peychaud bitters, 10 basil leaves, and Demerara sugar and muddle

  • Add Chartreuse, scotch, and cognac

  • Add ice

  • Cover glass and smoke with 1/4 tsp dried basil

  • Serve
