Björk

Medúlla (2004)

Medúlla is the fifth studio album by Icelandic recording artist Björk. It was released on 30 August 2004 in the United Kingdom by One Little Independent Records and in the United States by Elektra Entertainment.

"Ohhh yesss, Ys is a fantastical, poetic whirlwind—like a harp-strumming woodland elf spilled her diary into a bubbling cauldron of Shakespeare and fairy dust, and voilà: pure art! Joanna’s voice is… unique, très unique, like a magical goose in emotional distress—but glamorous! Très glamorous!" -Miss Piggy Muppet

Fantasia

1940

It starts as a nice evening of classical music, there’s no plot - just eight musical numbers, some dancing mushrooms, flying horses, and a demon the size of a city block doing jazz hands on a mountaintop. Then a wizard mouse stole a janitor’s hat and created a mop army that nearly drowned the orchestra. At one point, hippos wore tutus and performed Swan Lake. Fantasia is what happens when someone gives Beethoven, a paintbrush, and several buckets of hallucinogens to an animation studio. It’s like being hit in the face with a culture cannon loaded with ballet slippers, lava, and existential dread. The music? Beautiful. The visuals? Confusing. The experience? If a broom starts walking around, get yourself a Romba.

Cut-Rite Chain Saws’ Green Chicken Chili

No one can beat Dallas’ favorite caterer’s Drayton Sawyer chili, but if you’re looking for something other than red meat for your next chili cook-off, look no further. This chili doesn’t skimp on the meat either and doesn’t rely on hard shelled peppercorns. No need to go out on the highway to find your meat, for those who need to feed a hungry family using store bought ingredients like rotisserie chicken, left over rice and caned beans - you can cut your cook time down without loosing that fresh flavor.

"SUPERMAN: SOVIET SON?"
Global Icon Revealed to Be Champion of the U.S.S.R.

By Lois Lane, Senior Correspondent

Metropolis - The world was stunned today by the revelation that Superman, long thought to be a neutral force for good and protector of Earth, was revealed to be in fact a citizen of the Soviet Union and loyal defender of its regime.

The Man of Steel -previously a symbol of hope for all nations - first appeared publicly under the Soviet banner in Moscow, rescuing civilians from a nuclear mishap and receiving commendations from Premier Joseph Stalin himself. Dressed in a red-and-black iconic uniform, adorned with the hammer and sickle…
