USS Stingray Deviled Ham

First of all… who deviled it? Was there paperwork? Did it enlist? Because this looks like something that lost a fight with a food processor. Oh wow. That color? That’s not pink. That’s ‘submarine emergency lighting’ pink. That’s ‘we’ve been underwater too long and I’m questioning my life choices’ pink. Smells like ham… but like ham that’s been through some stuff. Ham that’s seen combat. Alright, alright. I respect it. It’s salty. It’s creamy. It’s aggressive. It doesn’t ask permission, it boards your taste buds like a hostile vessel with all guns blazing. You know what? I kinda like it. It’s the underdog of deli spreads. No glamour. No fancy packaging. Just pure, unapologetic spicy pork paste with an attitude. If this were a sailor, it’d be the guy who complains the whole mission… and then saves the ship.
