The Untamed
A bubbly grapefruit and tequila cocktail with minty effervescence
Ingredients
2 oz blanco tequila
1/2 oz dry curaçao
1/2 oz lime juice
3 oz grapefruit soda
mint leaves
1/4 tsp demerara sugar
Peychaud’s bitters
Garnish
mint leaves
cherry
Peychaud’s bitters
Hardware
chilled coup glass
muddler
cocktail shaker
ice
How to make
Add mint leaves, demerara sugar, and 2-3 dashes of Peychaud’s to the cocktail shaker and muddle
Add the tequila, dry curaçao, and lime juice to the cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake 8-10 seconds
Double strain cocktail shaker into coupe glass and top with grapefruit soda.
Garnish with mint leaves, cherry, and 2-3 dashes of Peychaud’s bitters
