Grapes of Wrath

A sophisticated musky grape cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbs. grape jelly

  • 1 dash angostura bitters

  • .5 oz sweet vermouth

  • 1 oz amaro

  • 2 oz cognac

Garnish

  • Frozen grapes

Hardware

  • Chilled coupe glass

  • Tablespoon

  • Cocktail shaker

  • Ice

How to make

  • Add grape jelly, bitters, sweet vermouth, amaro, and cognac to the shaker

  • Dry shake to agitate the jelly

  • Add a scoop of ice to the shaker

  • Shake 8-10 seconds

  • Double strain into a chilled coupe glass

  • Garnish with frozen grapes

  • Serve
