Candy Cane Joy Ride Simple Syrup
Candy cane syrup… now that’s funny. Looks all sweet and festive, like somethin’ your mama’d pour on pancakes Christmas morning. But you taste it, and it sticks. Clings to the back of your throat. Cold mint tingle, just enough sugar, makes your teeth ache if you think about it too long.
It’s the kinda sweet that don’t make you smile, it makes you remember. Reminds you that somethin’ nice can turn real uncomfortable if you swallow too much of it.

Ingredients
3 crushed candy canes
1/4 cup water
Directions
In a small sauce pan add crushed candy cane pieces and water. Bring to a simmer over medium low heat until candy cane pieces disolve.
Will keep for one week in the refrigerator.
