Cognac born from the cremated ashes of abused cardamom.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Cognac

  • 1 oz Amaro

  • .5 oz Creme de Noyaux

  • Tangerine Peel (Coin)

  • 1 oz Tangerine juice

  • Orange Bitters

  • Peychaud Bitters

  • Smoked black cardamom

Garnish

  • Orange bitters

  • Peychaud bitters

  • Tangerine peel (Coin)

Hardware

  • Chilled rocks glass

  • Ice

  • Cocktail smoker

  • Torch

How to make

  • To a chilled rocks glass add orange bitters and peychaud bitters

  • Smoke glass with cardamom using cocktail smoker

  • To a cocktail shaker add the cognac, amaro, creme de noyaux, and tangerine juice

  • Dry shake the cocktail shaker and strain into smoke rocks glass

  • Granish with dash of orange bitters, dash of peychaud bitters, and flaired tangerine coin

  • Serve
